Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters met for the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really going ahead.
